The Fourth came and went. I tried to drink as get as much H2O and exercise ,alot, but methinks I overdid-it
After putting the top back on my jeep, washing and waxing it too I went inside to call it a day,I took a nap and awoke with a pain in my groin. Boy! I hope I don't have a hernia brewing,
My arm, neck, sholder pain is slight, but I haveINTENSE Groin Pain.
I am meeting my New & hopefully Improved,Primary Care Physician Monday after work to get this all figured out.
I'm thinking I just overdid it and strained myself because I can only use 1 arm, my RIGHT arm, all the pain is localised o my RIGHT side, hopefully this is what it is..Will find out Monday. All this really concerns me,but I have to remain POSITIVE for my daughter. She is the sunshine in my days. She is the Ray of hope I thirst for. I remember the day she was born, thats the day I chose to become clean,11.28.1991since that day,I joined the Methadone Clinic. Working at detoxing was on 30mgs.I told them to cut me back slowly, but they did a 50% cut right off the bat, feel fine,a little nervous at times.
I CAN DO THIS\I WILL DO THIS!!!!!
God bless

I've been LQQKing for ways to minimize this redundant, moving pain that nobody seems to have heard of in my neck of the woods, anyway. It has minuplated my RT. sholder & arm intermittently, now it has found it way to my RT ankle\the good thing is when I take X 1 200 mg Ibuprofen, within the hour it diminishes drastically/it no doubt is the curse in my body. Some days i'm Normal, till it rears it's head again. "Go to Sleep forever curse!"
Off to Work 4th of July weekend.Having a cookout/Swimfest for all the Lil' ones. On Saturday I will be remembering all my brothers in arms. Wondering why I made it & they did not:(( L U C K Y I guess
God Bless this forum. Its been a Tower of strength to me

So sorry that sounds awful...no I haven't had that problem & am 8 mos post-tx....sounds like you really need to see doc asap in case something really not okk that can be resolved....+ ya can't not not use arm.
Only problem I still have is constant leg pain that gets worse if I do too much activity...can't be diagnosed...hoping just chemicals that will work out...also have osteoarthritis & Degenerative Disk Disease which was not tx related...your may not be either...so please have checked out and let me know how it goes...

hey steve, -about 10 months after transplant I got the same pain in the arm- couldn't use my rt arm without excruciating pain, it also had a mind of its own! getting worse towards nightime- nothing helped, advil, aleve, tylonol, ben gay, a heating pad took my mind off it -a little! it also moved around from upper arm to shoulder! took 8 weeks to finally ease off- I asumed it was a body cold or muscle virus and cause of meds- wouldn't go away! now 10-12 months later It returned! same place, same time of year- only not quite as bad, or did I just get used to it? one doctor said its a compressed nerve and I should sleep without a pillow- LOL- who can sleep! I took a perc and it still hurts, but who cares!? Im into 2 weeks with it now and going nutz!

Sorry to hear you are still having problems....sounds alot like mine except mine is more in my legs & feet....although sometimes in my arms...started 6 mos into tx and still there 8 mos post-tx....docs can't seem to diagnose me either.....tested for everything......
Might need to ask you doc to do a few simple neurological tests (just ways to move head, etc-nothing intrusive) then they can rule out neuropathy.
Sounds a bit like fibromylgia which is a common side of tx but very hard to diagnose.....I would suggest you see doc adn tell them all details....
Hope you have a wonderful 4th of July.....you made it thru because there must be some reason or something you have to contribute.....I'll be thinking of all the brave men who fought and continue to fight for us.....thank you for doing so for us - no words are adequate.....
take care of yourself
