Just turned 61 still working of course. Divorced, 1 daughter, 19 yrs @ home, just diagnosed with Advanced Cirrhossis after failing miserably to get rid of Hep C with Pegylated Interferon/Ribovirin treatment due to very lowBlood white count, Procrit didn't even help!Ugh! Last week end I became so ill I had to go to the ER 2X's...omg the bills. Anyway need some feed back. I wasted my life when younger with drugs which iz where I obtained this dreaded disease, May God FORGIVE ME! :o( HELP

Was heavily into Jaming BLUES & ROCK'N ROLL Music before I tried to Dust myself , I was an accomplished Guitarist\playing for 28 years, being involved with the area musicians in a couple of bands that hit it pretty big here.Nothing last forever! It ended as it always does nothing more than an endless Jam sessions & arguments, I finally faced facts & got a real job. had to the Ex-Wife was killing me. I put away my best gurlfriend & lover in the world, My '55 Les Paul Special, under my bed and went to visit friends in a college town I played in. While I was gone someone broke in my home & set it on fire. I lost my best friend, she was always there for me, never complained, always sang so sweet, Yes my 1955 Sunburst Les Paul Special, Perished in the fire:c(

Haven't been to responsive latelly, feel like a yoyo at times with this disease. Be glad to hook you up with some links for more info. From reading your profile i'm unsure of your status, do you know your MELD score AST ALT values ? If you have a liver panel it is easy to come up with your Meld score ast alt shows how sick you are higher the score worse off you are good ones are in the double digits. I hover around 400 to 500 mark. Hit me up any time doing good this week and have a grate day.

- Blood Levels Diminished drastically/White Count was @ 1.5 last Saturday! My IDS Stopped all treatment\was trying to eveviate HepC was on it 7 mths. Was working but had to reduce the Riboviran due to Low Hemo levels Thats all i have been introduced to

- Pegylated Interferon Somewhat Helpful
- I became so sickI had to take off work too much. then I got use to the Chemicals, became tolerant, but the Ribo is wot Kicked My Azz
- Ribavarin Somewhat Helpful
- Worked for 29 weeks my blood count got so dangerously LOW they had to give me 2 bags of blood in the same day Spclst., reduced the Ribo for the second time 1-2x's a day Then took me off of all said was threat to my life more so than the HepC. Now wotz Next? Shit have to believe in Hope at this stage wot else iz there? anyone with any info please. I'm not sick yet. hopefully never I'm on Methdone maint.\detox..in orderI'm clean other than that. hv been since 1990
