About Me
I have had L5 S1 fusion in Oct 06 and then in Dec 26 09 I had a two level fusion on my cervical at C4-5 C5-6 then in March of 09 I had to go through right shoulder rotator cuff surgery! I suffer depression, anxiety, stress, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, My husband has been disabled from back surgery for 11 years...he has an interthecal pump and is on 34 pills a day for depression and chronic pain...very difficult to watch someone you love suffer everyday!

Thank you so much. Yes, I have heard of that website and I too have been able to get a few of my prescriptions free and hopefully will be able to get more for free soon. That is a wonderful thing that they offer this help for people like us. Just wish they did the same with medical treatments.....

Hi I have had back and neck surgery in the last two years and my husband is disabled from back surgery's...He lives in chronic pain and I have had to take care of him for 11 years and now I am just recovering from spinal fusions!

- I love acupuncture..it has really helped me with the pain and tightness!
- Epidural Injection Working / Worked
- Have had sooo many over the years and they did not last..wish I had just done the fusion...
- Stretching Working / Worked
- Just started back to Bikram yoga...the stretching really helps with the pain and the heat makes the muscles so much easier to move and stretch!
- TENS Working / Worked
- I use this when I get really bad tightness and cannot get meds to work or if I have to drive and it really helps with pain...
Open Personality Disorders
I have conversion disorder..I have tremors and balance issues and they say it has come from stress!

- I am in a study for Conversion disorder in Chicago right now...
Open Restless Legs Syndrome
I have had restless legs for over 8 years..it is better now with a doctor from the sleep center taking over my meds for this...very hard to live with!!! Good nights and bad nights...

- It worked for years and then more pain and fibryomalgia so the doctors switched me to Cymbalta..it has really helped me!

- I am on this now and it has really helped...
- Requip Working / Worked
- I have been on this for years...they had to taper me off because I ended up at 5 mg and it got to be tooo high and then I had rebound effects now back down to 1 mg...it is really the only med that has helped!

- Have been on this for years...it has helped a lot..
Open Sleep Apnea
I have sleep apnea...I really struggle with the cpap machine...cannot use it all night...

I started losing weight in March and have lost 8 pounds..I want to lose another 22 by Oct 3..my 30th class reunion...
