I have DM II that has progressed to insulin dependent. It sucks...but I deal with it!

- Actos Not Working
- tried it-made me swell up a LOT
- Amaryl Working / Worked
- did work, until my pancreas went caput all the way.
- Byetta Not Working
- gave me stomach pains-like cramps...
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- trying to go by the glycemic index of foods more, and so far it has been helpful
- Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
- finally figuring out that having DM does not mean you have to give up everything...good revelation!
- Insulin Pump Considering
- I have an appt with endocrinologist on 30th to discuss the option of pump.
- Lantus Working / Worked
- works, but need a lot of it to do the job.
- NovoLog Working / Worked
- It works pretty well when I take it at least 5-10 minutes before I eat...
- Physical Exercise Somewhat Helpful
- has helped, but I know I need to step it up and do it more regularly to get the desired effect.
