my son (14) had a falling out with his friend today.....fairly normal teenage stuff! Instead of coming home and grunting at me about it he came home for his coat 40 minutes before his "in" time and buggered off out again promising not to be late. Unbeknownst to me he had lobbed his sports bag out of the bedroom window and had fucked off.....apparently to live with his dad. His dad sees him like twice a year (at a push) so I don't know why he thought he'd even be welcome there. I had to phone a friend to drive me around looking for him til 10pm tonight.Picked him up some 6 miles from home.......wanted to put a pickaxe through his head for the worry but had to do the mum thing......"come on daft lad...mum loves you whatever" got him home and to bed before I spewed a big lecture. Man I wanted a cigarette tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Didn't have one though.....coz I'm a NOPER! I'm a little weepy at the mo,teenagers are bastards,how do you stop them doing shit like that???? This one has been an absconder from a young age....first escaped through the hedge at 14 months....
I fucking hate being a single parent! His dad is a waste of space but that's where he runs to???
I am emotionally skint!!!!!!
Oh well, I've got my head round the fact that I'll be missing my front tooth for 4 days next week :(
It may be a good time to start the upstairs decorating! Maybe.............. lol. It'll certainly give the kids something to do as they'll have to run all my errands for me.
It's been a very rainy,miserable day,all the better for putting the lamps on and sitting under the fur throw watching Escape from Planet of the Apes with my son :)
Every day is a good day without a cigarette!!

I know you have a lot of rainy days, but that is my all time favorite. A rainy Sunday and I"m home!!!! OMG. I do exactly what you said you are going to do. I get all cozy and watch movies or TV or just nap and listen to the rain. We are like going into our 4th week without any. And should we get any, I'm usually at work :-( About your tooth, don't feel bad. My mom had to have all but like 6 from her mouth! it was horrilbe. She had her front pulled too! But, then she got $28,000 work of new ones that are beautiful. She wouldn't look at herself until they were done. That was pretty major though. But one or 20, it is still upsetting. Just do what my mom did, :-) Will you get pain medicine too? If so, just take that for 4 days and you won't care LOL. Time to go clean - hugs! PS. Great attitude - love it!
