I'm holding on, though barely. The only bright spot is that Dane loves me, but I don't know why, I don't know what he sees in me. I guess what no one else, including me does.

You and your son are in my prayers. TAke a deep breathe and just take it 5 minutes at a time. You are doing the most loving thing you can for him. It hurts so much when they don't realize just how much you do care. Don't hesitate to let me know if I can help. Love, Nancy
Prayer
I understand your loss. My daughter was killed at age 13 and its been 8 years and I still cry and cry. I'm totally disabled from it now and I got approved this year for social security disability because of it. You did the right thing with your surviving son. Realistically you know the odds are not on his side of surviving this disease. Most people with that disorder end up completing suicide or accidental overdose. My prayers are with you sweetie....you're in a really tough place but you're doing what has to be done to keep your son safe. I would call the hospital and ask if there are any support groups for family members that have children with this disease so you don't feel so alone. Take Care.
