About Me
I was so happy to find everyone on this site. Thank you to all for the support and advise I have received. My prayers are with all of you so that you can feel better. Let us not lose hope---- About me in a nut shell----I am 37 years old. I was Dx. with Fibromyalgia in 2002. I tried my best to live with it, and did not take any meds for it. I struggled with it for years. With some days being worse that others. Last year I think I went into remission because I even went back to work-part time and I felt great! Suddenly in April of this year 2009 I just went down hill. I thought it was another Fibro. flare-but after tons of vistits to the ER-and tons of blood work (you all know what its like) at first doc. said it was Lupus, now my Dx. is UCTD--- I just went on Plaq. and I hope it helps me feel better. I have a wonderful husband, and two girls 10 and 9-I also have great parents and a brother. I love my family and they the reason I push myself out of bed each morning. It is my hope that God will allow me to be here with them for many many more years to come...

Interests
I love to spend time with my girls, husband and family. I would love to shop-(but I haven\'t really felt like much in a while..) I love crafts, I love to knit (when my hands let me), I love to garden. (when I have the energy) I have 4 cuddly Cats that I just love. They make me smile when I think I cant. ~ For all these reasons I know Life is gift, and I thank God~ For the Beauty and Peace that it bring to my Life~ Now if only I felt a bit healthier.....I hope and pray that I soon will.....

Hope u r doing well. Is the plaquinel helping? I can truly feel your pain. I'm sure u r busy w/ your family & illness, but if u get a chance consider writing a journal entry so we can keep up w/ how u r doing. It also does make u feel better after venting & I'm not a big journal writing type of person. Also I am an animal lover so maybe u will consider up loading pics of your cats. My dogs & cat make me smile 2. Hope 2 hear from u soon. Best Wishes.

Oops. Hit send 2 soon. Anyway, the prednisone helps me b/c my hands swell & hurt which causes me 2 drop things frequently which is frustrating. The wt gain from
fluid retention is bad but hopefully the daily prednisone will b stopped when the MTX begins. If I have 2 hear 1 more person makes a comment about my chubby face I think I'll go off. Have you considered writing any updated journal entries? I just like keeping up w/ how my friends here r doing. God Bleds -

Just thought I'd check n & c how things r going. Have u still been able 2 work? Has the plaquinel been helpful? I can't tell much difference since taking the plaquinel & n Nov it'll b 8mo. so they're going 2 change it 2 MTX inj @ that time b/c it will have been an appropriate x trial. The prednisone helps wonders b/c my hands hurt & swell causing me 2 frequently.

Hello- I am new to Daily Strength-I was diagnosed with UCTD-after suffering with Fibro for 7 years-since my symptoms got worse-I made it back to the Rheummy and now I have UCTD-so he says--I just starting taking Plaquenil-I was hesitating to do so, because of the side effects ..Is anyone on this med. I would appreciate some personal testimonials. Thank you!

Hello everyone--Thank you to Dallas who told me that a UCTD was on this site--I was just diagnosed-but have been dealing with Fibro for 7 years--I think my symptoms are now worse , thats why I finally gave in to medication. I have been on Planquil for about a week now. My stomach feels yucky at times-but I will give it a try---thank you to all for all the heplful advice--hope everyone is doing well-
