My name is Mylissa and I have a 5 year old son. Named DJ he has been diagnosed as having an autism spectrum disorder so I am here for 2 reasons 1 to find the best help for him and 2 so that I can maybe understand him better!

Treatments

Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked

The obvious to much sugars and most red dyes. I truthfully couldn't tell you if there is a difference because we have always done it!

Early Intervention Working / Worked

At 2 he had not said mama or dada and we were scared i called the school district and the set up to come to the house it was amazing by the time he started pre-scool at age 3 he could at least let you know what he wanted and that he was mad without baby tactics, but the best was i love you at first he just signed it then after a while the words came I will never forget

Pets Considering

To help him understand that there is another world here and that we are always here not just when he desideds to notice

His last pre-school started this and I have kept it going not the whole day because he needs to have some flexibility but morning and night
