Open Codependency
Stemming from my forced independence during childhood related to my mothers drinking- I have some fear of abandonment, and being alone. In the past I have jumped from one relationship to the next, but it isn't always a problem (I actually stayed single and only dated casually for 3 years before I got married). My main problem is that I have trouble committing. Like my mother, I bolt at the first sign of trouble and occasionally try to make things work when they aren't safe. It's a grab bag!
