Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have been diagnosed with RA since I was 17. I still work a full time job and do pretty good. I took prednisone for 14 yrs and gold shots. After that I went on methtrexate until 1996 when I got toxic poisoning. I have been on Enbrel since 2002 and weighed 104 pounds before starting this medicine. I am now at 140. My Dr. did tell me Enbrel blocks your metabolism so that is what caused the weight gain. She is now wanting to put me on Rituxan. I would like to know if anyone has taken this.

- works okay, no side effects
- Celebrex Working / Worked
- no side effects
- Enbrel Working / Worked
- does not work as well and has caused a lot of weight gain
- Methotrexate Working / Worked
- worked great until I got toxic poisoning
- Plaquenil Working / Worked
- caused high pressure in my eyes so I had to stop taking
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- worked great,took for 14 years which caused some minor weight gain and the round face
