- Started at 12.5 mg, then 25, then 50....now at 100 and still not working yet?
Close Rape
To find emotional support for a rape that took place 30 years ago, I suppressed, and is now coming out of me at the age of 46. Feeling ALL of the emotions daily, and shunned by my family...which makes it worse.
Treatments
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Have been in counseling for 6 months for marital issues, and yes, it's helping. But the supressed rape and the emotions tied to it are just beginning to surface. I have alot of work ahead of me yet, but taking care of myself has to be top priority.
- Rape Counseling Working / Worked
- Haven't tried this yet...because this just started a week ago. Still working on getting resources lined up.
- Talking Working / Worked
- Shared it with my closest family and friends.....and haven't gotten any responses or support even though I asked them for their support. I feel alienated.
