      I'm stuck in an unhappy marriage. I am trying to make a wonderful life for myself and my children in spite of his presence. I want to stop eating to fill the void.       On lo carb eat all the raw veggies u want take Xenical if veggies aren't cooked ur body can't absorb the carbs and will burn more calories to digest raw veggies. I felt great when I was doing this I wish I could get back on it I also wa taking St Johns wort. R u taking an antidepressant? That will also help good luck. I would love to live or even visit southern Cal.

      I read your journal entry & I know exactly what you are going thru. I was 290 & lost to 217. This week I gained 5.2 lbs. However, I take prednisone everyday because of a rare muscle disease.
      I do wish that I could get myself back on track. Good Luck to you.

      I need 2 lose 40 lbs 'cause I can't fit in2 my clothes. I have just a few things 2 wear. I've been waiting 2 buy clothes 'til I lose the weight. It's been 9 yrs since I was thin!!! I feel ugly and depressed like this. Goal: 135 lbs by 11/1/09, lose 2 lbs per week by eating less overall, eating no bread, cereals, cookies, or pasta, eating more protein, more veggies, and by exercising 1 hr/day, 6x/week, staying positive, and surrounding myself by positive people. No excuses or whining.

      Treatments

      Atkins Diet Working / Worked
      I lost a lot of weight with this program. I modified it: I did not eat meats. Had spinach almost daily. I also kept a food diary and controled calories. Felt great.
    • Close ADHD / ADD

      I have never been diagnosed, but I think I have ADD. It could be depression.
