I just got news that I have a nodule on my lung, so gotta drop the smoking like yesterday

Hi I just turned 45 yrs old and have recently been tested for HepC and it came back positive, Im scared and I don't know what doctor to see. Im a recovering addict so the Hep C was no big surprise all while using I kinda knew but didnt care being straight now and hearing this is freaking me out I have two children under the age of 15 and I dont want to leave them.

Hey Deb--I hope you are doing ok. You know, I talk to alot of people on here at DS--sort of takes off fast after you join, doesn't it? I am grateful for every single person I have come into contact with, but yet there is always a few that stand out--you are one of them..I knwo you are fighting alot of what my beloved father had to fight and my heart just goes out to you and your family. What I would give to see you fight your physical problems down to a little pulp--then we can stomp on it!! (nah, I am not bitter, huh?)--hope you are doing ok and that you are having a wonderful weekend.--Lisa

Hi Deb--Gosh, it seems like one thing after another keeps happening to you...HEP C and now Lung Cancer--I know I have talked to you on more then one ocassion, and that I have probably gotten you confused b/c you are in the same groups as I am, it seems--I guess it just hit me all the crud you have had to put up with when I read another one of your post in the Lung Cancer group--I am always reading in there to see if there is anyone I can be helpful too since my Dad passed away from Lung Cancer, and I saw your Hep C and your recent surgery. If I have commented on this, I do apologize--but God Bless--you've had such a rough time, it it totally undeserving--I know you have got to be one strong lady to have had all of this and to have had children as well!!! Just wanted to send a hug your way.--Lisa

Close Hepatitis C
Im a 45 yr old female and I just officially found out Im positive for Hep C and I dont know where to begin. My doc hit me at 1st appt with I have Schirrosis of the liver. I have been told that he should not of gave me that kind of diagnosis without at least my bloodwork and Scan first, I got a scan scheduled on Sept the 27th and I have so many questions. So anyone with any advice its greatly appreciated. Thanx dd
Close Anxiety
I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks have been taking xanax for over 12 yrs now and it seems like somedays the dosage just doesnt work anymore and being Im on suboxone they are not a good mix so I dont want to go higher but wanted to see what other folks due to deal with their anxitey issues.
Treatments
- Xanax Working / Worked
- It works but Im a recovering addict and have been on xanax for over 12yrs idk, if I should switch to something different cause I realize Im addicted to them but yet I need them so I dont know what to do. Some days I take less then RX'ed and other days bad ones I find myself taking more so idk. dd
Open Cirrhosis
Ive just been diagnosed with HepC but doc told me he thinks it Schirosis just by a physical checkup and info I gave him, Im praying I can do the tx for HepC and that he is wrong but wont know till bloodwork comes back. dd
Open Lung Cancer
Ive been diagnosed with Lung Cancer I just had a surgery where they did a bronchcoscopy and mediastinoscopy Im very scared and wanted to know if anyone else here has had these 2 I guess they were biopsy's done and what was the outcome since they are making me wait 2 wks to hear from the doctor. I havent started any tx yet just scared to death. Thanks for any helpful info deb
