Oh, the poor little guy. I would contact maybe a child psychologist or social worker through the hospital - somebody that can give you concrete stratagies for dealing with the emotional reactions. He is so young. I don't think bribing him will work month after month. But maybe some type of positive reinforcement about how brave he is. I don't know, but I would pick up the phone and start finding a child specialist on how to deal with this. Good luck. I hope you follow through and get the correct advice. let me know.
