I have a new perspective on obsession. In Melody Beattie's new book, "The New Codependency", she talks about obsession as an important part of grief, which is the first step of experiencing a loss of any kind. She suggests that when we obsess about something, either by talking or thinking about it over and over, it allows us to accept what we perceive as the unacceptable. I never thought of my obsessions as such. I am now able to see it as a new reality.

HAVE YOU READ HER BOOK JOURNEY TO THE HEART? OR THE LANGUAGE OF LETTING GO? THEY ARE BOTH GREAT BOOKS.....
