Close Codependency
I am codependent but am working on myself everyday.

- I have played Suzuki violin since I was 4 years old. Music has always been part of my life. I need to have it around me most of the time.

- Reading wasn't always something I made time for. But over the years it has provided serenity and peace for me, as well as a great friend and resource.

- This has always been my MO. I always feel better after I talk things through.

- This was discovered when I was in Alanon 2 years ago, working through some issues with current addict partner. I now have the newest book, "The New Codependency" and also just bought "The Language of Letting Go." I also journal regularly.

- Worked during the time my partner went to outpatient rehab 2 years ago. Also went last year to a seperate therapist temporarily.

- Only works if I'm practicing non-codependency with him and myself

- Helps me on and off. I have ot be mindful of when I start closing up and hiding within myself.
