hi we r in the same boat, the more support the better for all of us, we can and will stop!
Thank you so much for the support. I shaved my for seven years and stopped doing it last year. (it wasn't helping me, I would pull as soon as it was long enough). But i'm feeling really positive right now. I just hope the positive attitude holds!! Thanx again, Hugs.
I knew you could do it! That's great that everything went so well. You kickass!!! There will be alot of things that you will notice from being pull free. Like all of the spare time you will have!! But it's great and i'm soooo proud of you for being pull free for two days. Keep up the great work =+)
opps sorry about two "welcomes". I popped by and thought I didn't say hi before but then this one posted and I saw the other. Feel free to delete.
It started when I was about 14 years old. I had a perm where my hair got fried and it just kept falling out every time I stroked my hair. Then I got a case of head lice which I didn't know about until several weeks had gone by. So that got me in the habit of having my hand at my hair thus the habit begins. It has now been 14 years and I am still pulling my hair. I am trying so hard to stop but I just can't. It has gotten so bad that I am considering getting a wig again.
I was diagnosed with IBS 3 months ago.
My therapist says I'm codependent. I'm currently reading Codependent No More and working through this. I need more help.
