Close Macular Degeneration

I am a young person with macular degeneration. I am 32 (diagnosed when I was 27). I'd like to hear from those who have this disease and how they are coping (any age). I have it in my right eye. The first 4 1/2 years I had the disease, it didn't affect my daily life. This year it worsened and now I am aware of it always. This is a frightening and uncertain disease and it helps to talk to those who understand it.

Treatments

Laser Surgery Working / Worked

Ive had 3 laser surgeries. Two when originally diagnosed 5 years ago. They were successful. I had two blood cell growths the lasers stopped the leak and left two small blind spots that I quickly got used to. I got the 3rd one 4 months ago. The original cells began leaking again. The laser sealed them and although I had larger blind spots as a result which were tougher to get used to I felt a vast improvement between 4 to 6 weeks after the laser.
