wuthering heights
halfway through!!!
I'm 17 and am going into senior year. I was just diagnosed with bipolar disorder this past January and am still learning to be aware of and control my symptoms. I'm responsible, or I feel responsible for a lot. I have a 14 yr old brother, who is also my best friend.

Hi Gamergirl, welcome welcome welcome to DS and the BP Group, you definitely have found your niche pet, I cant believe I'm saying this (makes me feel old) BUT Im almost 20 years older than you (aaacchh!) next month turn 37 but please believe me when I say this, it is just nothing short of miraculous (!) yes I mean that! that they have diagnosed you so young honey bun, as it will, with medication, save you (hopefully) of going through crap and excuse my language here (shit) for years on end and not knowing what the hell was wrong, not to mention the havoc played with our families and friends (now mostly non existant friends) but you get what I mean. I still have a few very good friends (thanks be to God) as it is only when something like happens to one do they find out who their 'true' friends are. Dont be discouraged by the diagnosis....its awful, terrifying, at the beginning but also somewhat a great relief to actually have a dare I say it a 'label' or a 'name' on this rollercoaster we are on. Message me any time you need an ear, and if one of mine isnt glued to my pillow and the other listening to damning delusions, I will try, no, we will try and work it through together. Im rambling now GG so I stop here oh and by the way my fiance of (13 years, dont tell anyone! lol) used to play accordian in a marching band, they came First in the All Ireland about a million years ago!!!!! Keep up the music, it has been my and will be your saviour :) could not live without music. Again, a million welcomes to the Group and try and keep yourself well, tall order I know, but at the end of the day GG, its just us battling our demons, on our own, we, and I say this hoping you do too, (a lot dont unfortunately), have family/friend/partner support and whatever your situation right now, I wish you well. xx
I am very proud of you
