I was reading a book (not sure of the name) and the funniest thing i have ever read "skinny girls ask "do i look fat in this" FAT girls never ask if they look fat in something, becuase they look FAT in everything" (or something along those lines. To most this isn't that funny, but really its the truth, and I just have to laugh at this and remember that when i am skinny i am not going to be ridiculous and ask this stupid question.

I hear you on this!!! I have a skinny friend who makes comments about how disgustingly fat she is in front of me. I feel like this is so pitiful that she does this, and it seems like she is trying to hurt me or make me feel bad. There are ways her life is pretty screwed up, ways that I have my life going well.
So....no matter what, skinny people can feel superior for being thin when we are fat. Not nice....but that is human nature.
I don't agree with the book, though, because we know we do have clothes that make us look fatter than others!!!! Give me a nice long tunic that covers my stomach and I am happy LOL
