I am a retired counselling therapist who was diagnosed a year ago with non-small cell lung cancer. With my family out on their own givng me 9 grandchildren, after 19 years of living single, I met a man who is all one woman could hope for.As of two days ago we have been married 4 years. Close Lung Cancer
I went htrough 5 drs to find out what was wrong with me.. Not oneof them came close.I f they had done what was needed, I would not be in the last stages .Fortunately I now have a very good medical support system. My problem is that Ihave no one to talk things over with. If I did, I do not have the strength to be a friend.I am notable to d housework right now; we make too much money to get any help so y husband does a lot after work. IT is all to much for each of us; for boh of us.
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- I developed almost all the side-effects . I I was/am very sick for almost two weeks after chemo. I had chemom evry 3-4 weeks depending on platelet levels. The tumor shrunk twicea nd a lung that was hrunk re-inflted.
- Taxotere Working / Worked
- The worst side effect I have is extremely feet an legs. I am scheduled t have aest to see if i have blood clots. As part of my chemotherapy it hasbeen successful.
