I made it a week. I have been using a spreadsheet to keep track of the calories I eat and the exercise I have accomplished. So far, I have only gone way over my calories on one day, and I have exercised ever day except for one.
I still have thoughts in my mind about crash dieting and doing something crazy to get the weight off really fast, but I know that I probably wouldn't even stick with it for one day.
calorie intake / minutes of exercise
June 4th - 2410/15
June 5th - 4390/95 --> WOAH. This is how many calories that I was eating every day before, but I told myself that I can eat everything I want every Saturday. I know that I will eventually scale it back, but it didn't happend today. That's ok because I am back on track for Sunday :)

WOW you are doing so great! I really admire you for doing the spreadsheet thing, and doing a "reasonable" diet plan.
I have always done the crash diet thing in the past, which works great for a while, stalls, and then I go back to overeating and gain back all the weight!
It is fantastic to let go of the day you went over cals., and just get back on track. Doing that will result in success, no doubt.
Hang in there. I can really use support to get on track again myself, and I would like to have you as a friend...maybe we can encourage each other....your cal. counting and exercise are already inspiring me.
Thanks for your comments on the discussion!

I would love to have a cheerleader, and I am a pretty good one myself! I think the trick is going to be to continue watching what I do even if I go overboard and eat a ton. If I have to write it down, then I will at least have to acknowledge what I did instead of ignoring it. Losing one pound in a month is better than gaining 10 which is what I do when I ignore things.
