About Me
They finally diagnosed me with MS in 1980 but I first started symtoms in 1976.I'm married 39 yrs. to a wonderful man!! We have 4 daughters and 9 grandchildren. I have crones disease, gerd, osteopersicis, hypertension etc. I've had many different treatments for MS. Now I use the wheelchair. I still try to think positive.

Type: Progressive Relapsing MSM.S. since 1980 here about others with it
Treatments
- Avonex Working / Worked
- Worked at first Then slowly made me sick, flue symtoms
- Baclofen Not Working
- this med didn't work for me for the spastistisy no side effects
- Beta Interferon Working / Worked
- It's been almost a year and I don't see any change
- Betaseron Working / Worked
- I don't think it works anymore but I still use it
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- worked for 3 yrs until I got alergic
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
- It does work for the depression but It doent work for pain
- Neurontin Somewhat Helpful
- makes you hungry If I don't take it I feel a lot more pain
- Novantrone Working / Worked
- worked in the past now I don't think It's helping
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- but It's a temporary fix. muscles are still are getting weaker
- Prednisone Somewhat Helpful
- do effects but doesn't last long
- Provigil Somewhat Helpful
- Keeps me alert
- Swimming Working / Worked
- Used to help but my muscles just got weaker to continue it
- Symmetrel Working / Worked
- I started this towards the beginning, It worked but the effects gradually make me have the flue allof the time
- Patience Somewhat Helpful
- worked around teens Works with hubby Works around clueless people.Helps stress level
