  Colonoscopies and gastroscopies are really very mundane! They give wonderful drugs that make you forget! I call them my (and pardon the french) I don't give a sit sots...because you really don't! So far I've had 15 gastroscopies and 3 colonoscopies and the worst thing is the prep. I have small intestine malformations plus I 've had several surgeries to help that, and the only way to check on the sites is to SEE them! What they learn is valuable, and if they can nip the anemia in the bud, you are a blessed Mom!(Well, you are anyway, but you know what I mean)
  One of my surgeries "broke" a part of my small gut so that I can no longer abssorb iron at all, have to have it IV and am always anemic. We do a happy dance if we bna get my ferritin to 11! It's 7 right now...anything I can do to help you thru this, PLEASE let me help!
