About Me

4 years ago I had a lump on my neck that grew around my chin, and turned out to be Burkitts Lymphoma. I was only 2 weeks into my new married life and had to endure 4 months of solid chemotherapy and radiotherapy. During my months in hospital I lost all of my body hair, lost 2 stone of weight and had a bone marrow sample taken and 9 lumber punctures. My diagnosis was Stage I which was relatively good news, and my treatment has worked a treat with me 4 years on feeling very healthy. I now go for checkups every 6 months, and wanted to set up my blog to share friendship, my story and other peoples stories.
