Today went pretty good. I had a small bowl of life cereal for breakfast. scrambled eggs with ham and red peppers for lunch, and we had bbq shrimp kabobs and fresh fruit for dinner. So we had alot of veggies and some shrimp. pretty low cal and nutritious - not to mention yummy!. I didn't worry about calories or portions because there wasn't anything very caloric and the veggies filled me up. Fresh melon for dessert. I did my 125 steps on the treadmill. Will try to do a few more tonight even though I'm tired. Definately want to do the weights.

Oh yeah, today was weigh day, and I was down 1 pound. Not as much as I'd like but I'm content with that. I know I've been on a plateau, so I wasn't sure I would lose at all. Also I am hoping that I've been gaining muscle with the weights and even the treadmill because it takes alot of muscle to carry around 400 lbs. (that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)  :) Anyway, overall, I think I'm doing pretty good. I did have some whole wheat cookies but I don't think I did too bad.

I Hope everybody had a good holiday.

Well done! I'm with you about when we're heavy and the strength/muscle it takes...I never pay attention to anything telling me how many cals an activity burns, bc I believe when someone my size does it, it burns MORE cals. My holiday was okay, but didn't really do anything...at least no family trauma/drama lately:)
