I have been married for 38 years (as of 11/26/09) to the mother of my two children, Vickie (21) and Bobby(16). I have two passions. the law and writing. As an attorney I specialize in constitutional litigation. I tend to be very intense. To relax I took up screen writing. That's what brought me to RAR, a screen play about acquaintance rape. I've been around a long time but never dreamed of the world (hell?) you live in. I hope through my screenplay to tell others of your pain and how they can help you recover.

Interests
Country music, american history, politics. As a conservative I usually vote Republican by default but when I lived in Connecticut I was a big supporter of Joe Lieberman so I vote the candidate, not the party label. And yes, my four presidential votes for a candidate named Bush were wasted votes.

HEY! I have been thinking about you. Haven't "seen" ya around lately, and wondered if you still come to DS much. How've you been? I liked the gist of the rape movie script, but I've been embarrassed to admit: I never played chess and don't know anything about it, so all the chess stuff lost me. I mean, I get the juxtaposition as a literary device, but I ended up having to skip her chess games because it was impossible for me to follow. ;-). The rest made very good points, though, of course! Any luck yet getting it picked up?

Hey! Sorry, I am slow. Just lettin' ya know. I have started the comedy, and I am at the church scene right after the rape in "BF". Hey, BTW, were you on a chess team at some point, or just really enjoy chess? I never learned it myself, but I got a "No Stress Chess" set so my kids can learn. NSC is about my speed, too, LOL!

Ray of Sunshine
I lay in the sun for comfort...to ease the tension in my body and in my mind. I send you rays of sunshine for their therapeutic effect. Your responses to me have been so kind, and so encouraging. You know, there is a very kind therapist...about your age actually, and he is much the same as you. He wishes he could get me to see things that he sees. In fact, once he said he wished I worked like a computer, so he could upload into me, the things he sees that I cannot. Ah....if only it were that simple. But, I read your words, and I appreciate them, and I know they are heartfelt, and in my own best interest. I will try my best to absorb them, and believe. Know that I want to....it is just blocked by some pretty vile stuff right now. But, I am working on some house-cleaning issues, so soon maybe. I really do appreciate your words. Always so kind, and so timely!
