going to see grandma today... Mood
Thursday, June 18, 2009

...and i think i'll tell her about the endo.  it's only been a few months since my suspect-diagnosis.  grandma was a nurse, and i'm sure she at least has a general understanding of this.  i wasn't sure if i wanted to tell everyone.  i told my mum's family at mother's day, they're all women.  my dad's side is tricky, though.  i haven't said anything to my dad about it at all, whereas, i told my mum right away because she has endo, too.  i know grandma will understand the most out of this side of the fam.  she may also be a good support, because she had a hystorectomy several years ago, and can probably give me an idea of what that entails (if it ever comes to that).

now, how to approach the topic... ;)
