Why is making an appt so difficult for me? I don't want to be seen on base, he is not a neurosurgeon and I'm sure has NEVER dealt with …

You're going to be soooo busy with three girls, that six months is going to fly by!!! The best thing I can tell you is balance and support. Do as much as you can, when you can the best you can.....even if that isn't the greatest. Involve your self in local groups, churches and activities where you can get hands on support. Our local Red Cross has such a group.
Enjoy your time with the girls and if you eat cereal in your pajamas for dinner - who cares!!

Was diagnosed with Chiari malformation on 6/1/09 and need support. I have never heard of this neurological disorder before and am scared of what my future holds. I'm 26 years old.....

I am the wife of a Seabee. We have been married for eight years and together for eleven. He has been in the Navy for 13 years and just deployed to Japan for six months. It's very hard living without my best friend and I am happy to have found this support group.
