Went to the ER again to see if I could get some help with my hyper symptoms. ER docs just don't want to deal with us thyroid people. We should be able to get blood tests done immediately and see where our numbers are at. I have been suffering for weeks and can't get an appt. to see an endo for months. What is one to do? My primary care doctor does his best, but it is not his specialty. So much for today's attempt to solve the problem.

Just venting. I am so discouraged. This hyper thing has never happened to me before and I'm so upset.

Hashithing
Since I took myself off the Levoxyl, some symptoms have diminished slightly. Had blood work done today and seeing my PCP next week. Have appt. with new endo next month. Hopefully, someone will come up with an answer. Just wish I had seen your (Hashithing) comment re: adrenals before I went for blood work.....I will ask my PCP about doing that test next week. Did you experience the awful "heat sensations" too? They keep me up all night. Thanks for your support. It means so much at this time.

Feeling somewhat better since I got the GERD under control. Now just waiting to see the doc for the results of my lab tests regarding problems I've been having with Hashimoto's. This site has been wonderful. Have met wonderful and truly helpful people.
