BuSpar Somewhat Helpful

I used to take this for anxiety. I didn't really notice a difference. I was using it along with Effexor XR when I felt that the Effexor was no longer strong enough and I was at the highest dosage and still experiencing frequent anxiety attacks. Didn't notice any adverse side effects. I was on 10mg 3x daily Stopped taking Bupirone when I started taking Seroquel.

Klonopin Somewhat Helpful

I use clonazepam occasionally when a panic attack or anxiety attck gets really out of control. I also use as a preventative measure when I know I am going into a stressful social situation. Side Effects - bad mix with alcohol, to the point of blackouts It seems to make me forgettful, sometimes unable to concentrate, not focused I don't recommend driving while on this med - reaction time seems to be greatly delayed

Valium Working / Worked

Prescribed this once, by an on-call doc inplace of my FamDoc for extreme anxiety attacks. My FamDoc quickly took me off of it when he found out, and said it was too "addictive" for me. This is what prompted dosage changes with other meds. I had occasional extreme anxiety attacks again, and was prescribed clonazepam from another on-call doc. This time my FamDoc allowed me to continue using it because it seemed to work very well with me.

Effexor Working / Worked

Works well. I switched to this after taking Celexa for almost 10 years. Started at 75mg daily, didn't help much increased to 150mg daily, made some improvements increased to max dosage of 225mg worked well for a few months, then it felt like I was becoming immune to it again, so my FamDoc added Buspirone. I didn't have any adverse side effects

Wellbutrin Working / Worked

started at 150 mg, worked AMAZINGLY, Like a Miracle drug. Great Effects within one week of starting it. Used along with Effexor at 225mg, and Buspirone at 10mg3xdaily Recently changed dosage to 300mg using along with 150mg Effexor, NO Buspirone, and Seroquel for insomnia. Seems to be working just as well with the changed dosages.
