About Me
Married, 50 years old, and I have one son. I had a heart attack on 05/24/09 while I was doing aerobics. I've watched what I eat and exercised for a long time, and in general tried to keep myself healthy. My mother's family were all diabetics so that was a major concern and one of the reasons I tried to be healthy. Anyway, now I have 2 stents.

Interests
I like to read (Dean Koontz rocks!) mysteries, thrillers, inspirational books, and the Bible. I like to knit. There's a loosely organized group of us "Southern Chicks with Pointy Sticks" who meet and knit together. Before my MI I taught an adult Sunday School class at the church I attend, First Christian Church. I hope to return to teaching the class.

Thanks for the support. My test results were a little concerning. I do have COPD. But mild. I do have sleep apnea and I recieved the machine. I am just learning the extent of the damage I have done to myself with my bad habits. Thanks for your prayers. This site really helps.
