About Me
I am a pretty typical mom/wife living in the suburbs trying to control my bipolar/depression/anxiety which has increased since a hysterectomy 8 months ago. I'm only 33 so it thru my body for a tail spin. I just want to feel normal again and enjoy my family.

I am soo sorry you went through that - it sounds like akathisia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akath... OMG does it feel like total hell. Some drugs can cause it, if you need an antipsychotic for psychotic symptoms the best with lowest incidences are Seroquel & Seroquel XR & a brand new one (which was just approved & not even out yet, so keep your eyes out & supposedly it doesn't make you tired) called Fanapt. I can take low dose Risperdal as well. High dose and I get akathisia but it is mild & I can take cogentin to stop it. - it is sooooo bad, akathisia was used as a form of torture in political prisoners by using high doses of antipsychotics, so it is that bad. :big hugs: Some people are just like us - my pdoc says it has to do with our brains and the way our dopamine receptors work.
Get Well Soon!
How you feel makes total sense to me, I am feeling the same way you are now. Again, keep in mine that this too shall pass.... hope you are feeling better soon.
((( hugs )))
