Type: Papillary Carcinoma

I had a TT on April 15, 2009 that was papillary carcinoma. The tumor had attached to the muscle on the right side of my neck so he had to remove part of the muscle, removed 9 lymph nodes and 7 of those were positive for cancer. The tumor on the right was the size of a golfball and there was one the size of a pea in the left. I was put on Cytomel a week after surgery. Started low iodine diet and stopped Cytomel on May 25, 2009 and will have RAI, 150 mcg on June 8, 2009.

Cytomel worked well for the short time I took it to get my energy level up after my surgery.
