soon to be 55 had Type 2 for 15 yrs, I'm on actos and two types of insulin trying to get my sugar back in control. I'm a gay father and partnered for going on 14 yrs this Nov. I've lived in the Columbus area for 7 yrs and lived most of my life in IN. My twin sons will be 22 in July and their mother died 3 yrs ago. She and I were married for 17 yrs. The reason I joined the Daily Strength was to get help/support managing my diabetes. I always search sites/the net for gay venues, you never know what or who you'll find.

one of my sons is ADD, he's a college Jr and struggles not to have ADD.

- if my son is able to meditate at least 2 hours every day then he has pretty successful days. If not he has trouble focusing on tasks.

- no side effects, been on it for over 5 yrs. Keeps you from having strokes.
- Byetta Not Working
- doctor just took me off this, it stopped working for me
- Humalog Working / Worked
- I'm on two types, been on 25/75 for years and just started on 5 units of reg. humalog last week to level out my highs and lows...we'll see how it works.
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- I had a personal trainer at the first part of fall, but he did a lot of damage to my right shoulder. I go to a chiropractor now and he wants me too cool it on crunches, so I try to walk a little every day.
