Last week's visit to the Retina Specialist gave hope that a re-check of my vision may help me stay driving. Being/staying independent with restrictions regarding day time driving only. I'm so OK with that. Two months ago when I started my long waited for retirement, who would have thought my eyes would betray me so suddenly. My new vision test is this Wednesday and I am praying I can get a 20/60, worst case scenario, with correction.
There is something so fun about starting a new month and a new week at the same time. I'm seeing a new Retina Specialist on Thursday and am mentally prepared to hear what ever he has to say. My family is being supportive of my impending blindness condition and I feel encouraged that my life isn't goinng to stop being " great."
Today is my best day since hearing my news and being classified as legally blind. I'm approaching life from a different angle and am going to get out in the world and finish my life's plans.
