After spending a morning that involved giving the Peach a bath, I was completely innervated so nap was in order. Now that I'm somewhat refreshed, I'm ready to add to my ramblings here.
I'm looking out at my yard and wishing that I still had the energy I had even two years ago because there is much to be done. Before MS took its toll on me, I used to mow grass, cut bushes, be a one-woman yard machine...but no more. One of my precious sister's best sayings is "You can't miss what you can't measure" (she used that particular saying ALOT with regards to my sorry ex-husband!) but in this case, I can measure and miss my energy and resourcefulness!
BUT there are some compensations. I used to be such a whirling dervish of activity that I missed a lot of things. Now I think I'm becoming more appreciative of the everydayness and the little things that make me smile or heck, make me laugh right out loud!
I'm hoping for an evening and a tomorrow filled with LOTS of things that make us all laugh right out loud!
