Sitting on patio, watching my dog smook around (this is my own word...a combination of smelling and looking!) and listening to the bird sounds. It is peaceful, tranquility inducing and indeed something for which to be grateful!

Peachmom, enjoying peace and tranquility is what I am grateful for also. My son and family are moving to a new town about 4 hours away and I have been so focused on how much I'm going to miss them but then read your post and have to agree there is plenty to be grateful for! I don't have a dog but do have a lazy cat that searches for sunbeams to lay in..,...I'm grateful for our new friendship Thank You!

I'm happy to have written something that moved you. I'll be remembering u as u adjust to a change with your son and his family. Change isn't aways great to adapt to but always interesting, isn't it? Hang in there, new friend o'mine!
