Close Graves' Disease

I have been struggling with graves disease for 2 years now, and i am only 17. I have one of the worst cases my doctors have seen. but i have been through a variety of diffrent treatments so i can help people understand what they may go through with each treatment choice

Treatments

PTU Somewhat Helpful

Ptu helped me for a while, just to stay at a decent level. My levels were so high i had rai done 5 times, and the ptu helped because when my levels were so high they werent able to do rai or surgery. They were a lot of side effects though.

Radioactive Iodine Working / Worked

After 5 times, it workd...but it worked to much. Now i have no thyroid glad and i am on synthroid and they have to play with the doasge of that...hopefully it wont take 2 years for this.
