I am a sterile processing tech for a major hospital. I have 2 adult children. I have been under treatment for depression and anxiety for 7 years and the past 9 months have been the worst. Currently on medical leave to reboot and find a counselor to make a new plan.

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have been put on medical leave due to severe depression and anxiety. I am hoping a little break and some counseling will get me back to a better place.
Treatments
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- Keeps the anxiety to a minimum and helps the other drugs work better. No side effects
- Paxil Working / Worked
- This was the best drug I had, unfortunately it was thought to be the cause of a major allergic reaction and I had to give it up.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- Works well, makes me sleepy, so I have been taking at night.Trying to get that adjusted to AM, as Dr. thinks it does effect sleep once it kicks in.
- Writing Too Soon to Tell
- Just started a journal here on DS.
- Ativan Working / Worked
- Lets me sleep and rest but cant keep taking addictive. Helps me talk about my problems without turning into a blubering mess.
Close Financial Challenges
Lost job last year, working 2 jobs and not making anywhere near what I had. Paying down credit cards and getting loan modification for mortgage.

- Budgeting Working / Worked
- It works when heating, electric and gas isn't sky high. No room for any fun at all.
- Cut Up Credit Cards Working / Worked
- The companies suspended for me while I am in the pay down programs.
- Earn Money Working / Worked
- working as much as I can to keep things moving forward
- Holding a Garage Sale Considering
- I hate having people paw over my stuff and give me a few measly dollars for a lot of hardwork.
