  I'm gonna use protopic too after seeing a dermatologist.There simply isn't another real cure for severe eczema after all.I'm 53 years of age and I used cortisone,then neoral(cyclosporine).The neoral pills hadn't any effect anymore after a year and I got pimples of it.Now my last hope is the protopic.I read many articles on that topic and most dermatologist agree that a wright treatment with the ointment does control the eczema.But I have the feeling that you have to lubricate the affected skin also even if the eczema doesn't show it symptoms.Sort of prevention of eczema flare.Let's hope it's useful for you too !
