      I'm a 60 yr old female BK amputee. Lost left leg 2005. Had a mild stroke after amputation.

      Treatments

      Physical Therapy Working / Worked
      PTs who treated me concentrated on exercise. Didn't teach me much about living with a prosthesis.
      Prosthetic Device Working / Worked
      My initial experience was good. The stroke I suffered has held me back. I have very poor balance and still cannot walk unassisted. I use a walker.
