Frustration
Woke up at 3 this morning doubled over in pain. Had to take double the pain meds, but it still took hours before the pain eased up. It …
I'm a 48 year old woman living on disability. My husband left me in November of 07 at which time I had to move in with my parents. I lost everything that day. My husband, home, life, friends, even my dog. My youngest son had to move in with his brother so I even lost my children to some extent. Husband moved in with his mistress and lost nothing. So not only am I living with multiple illnesses some of which cause chronic pain, I also have to deal with the emotional pain. I'm also severely agrophobic which prohibits me from being able to get out and try to make new friends. Life seems hopeless at this point, so I'm hoping I can find some help.

Good for you!!! I used to try to tag along on trips with my mom but I'd start feeling terrible & wanting to go home before we got through the first errand. We get a wheelchair now and I feel SO much better & last longer not having to walk. I love my handicap sign too. There's almost always a nice close spot so I have to do even less walking. Anything that helps huh! HUGS
I feel the same way! Hate to hear other people are hurting too. Chronic pain is the worst! I wouldn't be so grumpy if I could just get a break from this pain sometimes. Makes it harder to enjoy anything.
I have near syncope. I do everything but black out. Before I knew I had POTS and had medication I would faint 3 times just getting out of bed and going downstairs. I couldn't clean my room cause I fainted every time I bent over. It pretty much keeps me from fainting, but I still get the hot flashes, worse headache, pounding heart, nausea and all if I do any amount of walking so I really don't get out.
Hope you are having a "good day"!
I know how you feel!
I am new here, but I understand totally what you are dealing with. I have been in severe back & muscle pain for a long time, and have also lost alot. I will write you again. Take good care
