Well a bike rider that i had hoped to ride with some day was found dead by the road the other day. Cause is a mystery, massive head tramma but no damage to his bike and he was found on the opposite side of the road in a ditch. Those in the ride that were behind him said there were no cars out at that time (he had ridden ahead of everyone else). Sad but it happens, at least he died doing what he loved (over 10,000 miles this year).
My wheel will be fixed pretty soon and i am glad, the wheels that came with the bike (worth about $120.00 or so) are ok but loose speed real fast and don't gain it as fast either. The Neuvation wheels that i bought (about $300.00) are much better which doesn't really show up until you ride 30 or 50 miles. After that 2 or 5 % really shows up.
The monsoon continues.......Which is kind of OK right now because ...MY BACK is sore, MY BUTT is sore, and other unmentionable areas are sore! So it all hit at once and will be over soon enough. Feeling better now than i did between 2:00 and 6:00 this morning when the back was really hurting.
