Well i finally got a metric (100 kilometers which is 62+ miles ). The heat has been making me get off the road before i could get that far even though i was leaving before dawn! Yesterday we finally had a day less that 100, even less than 90 :-) and i took the Northern route. Of corse at the top of this route is a little town called Rhome and it is the top of the hill for miles around. On that hill is a Dairy Queen and they make good tacos which i consume for lunch every time i go there :-)  The weather was cloudy and it did rain on me a little but nothing hard and the light stuff really cools you off so i don't mind it, at least until i go wash my bike :-)  Got tired at about 40 miles and the av. went down after that but i stuck it out and rode a little extra at the end to make it a metric, my 23rd of the year.
