I met with my doctor before treatment yesterday and she said that even though my PET scan was clear they may not be able to reduce my treatments. I guess I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up about it, they said they will double check my markers and see but they may not be able to change it. It really sucks, I hate getting treatments so much, I just want my life back.

I got a call today to tell me the results of my PET scan. There is no trace of cancer!!! I am so excited, this also means that I will probably only need 2 more months of chemo!! I am so excited!!

I know how you feel. After my clean PET scan after treatment #4, it made going back for treatment even more difficult. I dread each and every one of them. The good news is that this is temporary. My onc shared a story with me last time re: how they used to treat Hodgkin's. 36 months of chemo! Can you even imagine?!
