Thank God! I have had a string of "good days"! I'm back on Cymbalta; after a very brave try to go w/out and stay on gabapentin …

Close Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia began to manifest in winter of 1997. I was diagnosed in 2003. Some better days/times and some worse since then; mostly worse. have been unable to work for three years now and filed for Disability.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- helps aspect of depression, pain, fatigue
- Elavil Somewhat Helpful
- helps me sleep when severe pain iprevents restful sleep
- Heat Working / Worked
- helps with pain and leg cramps
- Lyrica Not Working
- used after I tried gabapentin; I returned to stronger dosage of neurontin/gabapentin
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- works better than I thought. It caused sleepyness at first.
Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
Treatments
- Baking Soda Working / Worked
- Macrobid Working / Worked
- prescribed for two years; appeared to help. I lost lots of hair. Good thing I have alot of hair.
- Pyridium Working / Worked
- helps temporarily
