About Me

My name is Breland and I'm 22 years old and when I'm not fighting my Hyperthyroidism or Graves Disease I'm a singer and recording artist. I was diagnosed with graves disease in February of 2009 and have been fighting with it ever since. I hate the way the meds make me feel and I hate the heart palpitations I'm always experiencing even though I'm on beta blockers! I try to be optimistic and pray to be cured. I can never eat what I want because anything I eat always makes my heart palpitate. Sometimes I get anxious and nervous when my heart starts to palpitate and it's one of the worst feelings in the world. I really hope I can put my graves disease in remission because I never imagined I would get a disease at such a young age. I have so much more life to live and I'm already getting sick :( Right now I'm taking one day at a time and I'm going to fight this thing to the end :D
