You will be in my prayers as you go through this surgery and recovery. I know about recovery since I had a heart attack 4-1-09 and am still recovering. I've been off my RA meds for 4 years due to nausea, but have just been put back on MTX. So, I understand...I understand.

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I am 53 years old and was diagnosed with RA and Lupus in late 2007. Since then every aspect of my life has deteriorated. I am now walking with a cane, have nerve damage in my legs from the RA, it has affected my relationship with my husband, my family, and I don't know when the last time it was I felt good. All of the medications are not working. Had my first infusion this past Friday. We'll see.
Treatments
- Celebrex Not Working
- No longer using this treatment
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Helped my hair to quit falling out.
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- Could not take pills due to gastric bypass using injections
- Plaquenil Not Working
- My rhematologist has now taken me off of this due to the possibility it is contributing to the nerve damage.
- Prednisone Not Working
- Don't like this stuff.
- Rituxan Too Soon to Tell
- First infusion this past Friday. I had immediate side effects, and delayed
- Tylenol Somewhat Helpful
- Every little bit helps
