I was diagnosed with HIV in 1998 which is the year I was also infected. I took meds two years later stayed on them for 5 years then went on a clinical trial study and came of meds for 3 and half years... now Im back on meds ..currantly 400plus cd4 and 276 viral load count...awaiting a resistance test

      Treatments

      Combivir Working / Worked
Worked amazingly well kept me undectable for 5 years but for the first 6 months made me throw up and feel tierd alot.
      Truvada Too Soon to Tell
So far so good I was so happy I had no side effects with this one its still early days though and wondering if I may be getting kidney problems due to protein increase in urine and itchy skin...my CD4 shot from 160 to 420 in a space of 4 weeks of taking it.
      Viramune Working / Worked
it worked a treat stayed on it for 5 years came off it for a no meds trial for 3 and half years now back on it but suspect I may be having built up a drug resistance now....awaiting further tests
